Semiconductors power the technologies, systems, and infrastructure we rely on every day — from AI and health care to transportation, national security, and the global supply chain. But the talent pipeline is not keeping pace.

Meeting this workforce need requires a broader mix of talent — students trained across engineering, science, computing, manufacturing, operations, and strategy who have earlier exposure to industry environments and stronger preparation to contribute sooner.

The EDGE Consortium brings higher education, industry engagement, and applied experiences together across a cross-institutional coalition to build a more connected semiconductor talent pipeline.
